“Rich Janor will stand with the men and women in law enforcement and will fight to repeal the “anything but” SAFE-T Act,” said FOP State Lodge President Chris Southwood. “Illinois FOP is endorsing Rich because he will prioritize public safety, will put victims before criminals, and will help turn the tide against attacks on our law enforcement officers and our profession.”
“I am honored to have the support of the Illinois Fraternal Order of Police and our public safety community,” said Rich Janor in accepting the endorsement, as the race for the 41st District seat continues to draw regional and statewide attention as one of the closest races for the Illinois House in the state.
Law enforcement advocates, including the Illinois FOP, Safe Suburbs USA PAC, and DuPage County Sheriff James Mendrick are endorsing Janor over his incumbent opponent, citing Janor’s proven record and positions in support of law enforcement.
“Law enforcement deserves our respect as they protect and serve,” said Janor. “We must fund our police, train our police, and ensure they have the resources to win the fight against crime. I will fight to repeal the SAFE-T Act and will not go along with decriminalizing hard drugs like Fentanyl and Heroin, which wreak havoc on our communities.”
Support from law enforcement organizations is a key distinction for Janor’s campaign in the 41st District.
