4/1/22 Enews From CCSD93

Morningbreakfasr

Dear Friend of CCSD93,
Messages From
Superintendent Hill:

I hope you and your family have enjoyed a restful week. We’re excited to welcome our students back on Monday, April 4 as we gear up for the final two months of school!
Returning Student Registration for 2022-23 Opens Online 4/6-4/29
On Wednesday, April 6, all families with current CCSD93 students in kindergarten through 7th grade will receive a call, text and email with instructions to register for the 2022-23 school year directly through TeacherEase. Families with incoming kindergarten students who have already begun the kindergarten registration process will also be notified.
This is a new registration system that replaces PowerSchool Enrollment. Families of existing students will simply need to log into their existing TeacherEase account and follow the prompts to register their child for 2022-23 and pay any related registration or item fees. Registrations for returning students should be submitted by April 29, 2022.
Families who have never logged into TeacherEase will receive reminder login instructions on Monday, April 4 in preparation for online registration.
If you have an incoming kindergartener and have not yet begun their kindergarten registration process, please visit www.ccsd93.com/kindergarten to do so. If you or someone you know will be entirely new to CCSD93 for 2022-23, visit www.ccsd93.com/registration for more information.
Please review the following more from CCSD93 and our community.
Sincerely,
Dr. David H. Hill
Superintendent of Schools
CCSD93

CCSD93 Morning Breakfast Service to Start 4/4
Throughout the 2021-22 school year, at the end of the school day interested elementary and middle school students have been provided with breakfast for the following day.
Starting after spring break on Monday, April 4, CCSD93's elementary and middle schools will discontinue this practice and will once again start serving breakfast in the morning. This typically occurs during the 15 or 20 minutes before the start of the school day. Please watch for more information from your child’s school on exact timing and school location for breakfast pickup.
As always, breakfast consists of grains, fruit or juice, and milk. For the remainder of this school year, they will continue to be provided free of charge to families. Parents can always find breakfast and lunch menus posted to CCSD93's food service website.
Donate to Community-Wide Food Drive 4/11-4/22
During the weeks of April 11-22, CCSD93’s schools will once again participate in the Community-Wide Food Drive, sponsored by the Rotary Club of Carol Stream, to help restock local food pantries that serve all of CCSD93’s communities.
Families will be invited to donate nonperishable food items and other household essentials like toiletries and diapers to help neighbors in need. View this flyer for specifics and watch for more from your child’s school.
