Possession of Cannabis by a Driver

At 7:39 p.m. officers observed a vehicle cross over the right lane lines unsafely on 75th Street. The officer stopped the vehicle at 75th Street and Dunham Road and the driver, Dylan Wright, 27, of 929 Liberty Street, Aurora was cited for unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver operating uninsured motor vehicle and improper lane usage. Wright was given a court date of May 5, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Driving While License Suspended

At 10:09 p.m., an officer in the area of 75th Street and Cass Avenue checked registration which was suspended. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Ray Olson, 60, of 2637 W. 89th Street, Evergreen Park was arrested for Driving while License Suspended, and Driving while Registration Suspended. Olson was given a court date of April 28, 2022 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

March 22

Driving While License Suspended

At approximately 7:53 a.m., an officer observed a vehicle driving in the 1400 block of 75th Street driving at a high rate of speed in a school zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Olga Alonzo, 39, of 5350 S. Austin Ave, Chicago, was arrested and cited for driving with a revoked license, operating an uninsured motor vehicle and speeding in a school zone. Alonzo was given a court date of April 21, 2022 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

March 23

Warrant / Out of Jurisdiction

At 4:37 p.m., officers were dispatched to the Extended Stay, 2345 Sokol Court, for a subject wanted on a Warrant. Richard Young, 55, was arrested on the warrant. Young was transported to DuPage County Jail.

Theft – Vehicle Parts or Accessories from Vehicle

At 4:50 p.m., an officer was dispatched to Extended Stay, 2345 Sokol Court, for a theft of a catalytic converter. The victim advised that sometime 3/23/22 and 3/24/22, an unknown person(s) removed the catalytic converter from their rental car. Total loss estimated at $500.

March 24

Stolen Property – Buy/Receive/Possess

At 2:03 a.m., officers were dispatched to the area of 8337 Captons Lane for a possible theft in progress in a parking lot. The caller related that they observed a vehicle parked in front of another parked vehicle which was leaving and heading northbound on Cass Avenue. Officers observed the vehicle that was leaving the parking lot and stopped the vehicle. Reginald Harris, 20, of 6207 S. Spalding Ave, Chicago and Byron Moore, 26, of 8509 S. Aberdeen, Chicago, were arrested for

Possess of Stolen Motor Vehicle parts, Possession of Burglary Tools and Criminal Damage to Property. Both offenders were transported to the DuPage County Jail.

March 25

Warrant/Out of Jurisdiction

At approximately 6:57 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle speeding in the 8200 block of Cass Avenue. Radar confirmed the vehicle was going 56 mph in a 40 mph zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Autumn Clay, 22, of 16W747 Mockingbird Lane, Willowbrook was arrested for an FTA warrant out of DeKalb County. Autumn was transported to the Darien PoliceDepartment where she posted bond and was given a court date of May 2, 2022 at the DeKalb County Courthouse.

March 26

Domestic Battery

At 6:35 p.m., an officer was dispatched to the 900 block of Ironwood Avenue for a domestic battery. Justin Chernivsky, 40, of 921 Ironwood Ave, Darien, was arrested on two counts of domestic battery. Chernivsky was transported to the DuPage County Jail.

March 27

Driving While License Suspended

At 6:52 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle fail to stop at the intersection and 79th street and Warwick Avenue. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, James Midderhoff Jr., of 2520 Waterbury Drive, Woodridge, was arrested for Driving While License Suspended. Midderhoff Jr., was given a court date of May 19, 2022 at the DuPage County Judicial Center.

At 9:09 p.m., an officer observed a vehicle with an unreadable plate. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Trisha-Ann Hurley, 49, of 432 S. LaFayette Blvd, South Bend, IN was arrested forDriving with a Suspended Driver’s Llicense. Hurley was assigned a court date of May 5, 2022, at the DuPage County Judicial Center.
