Reid for DuPage County Board has issued the following press release:
Lombard, IL—DuPage County Board candidate Reid Foltyniewicz announced a slate of thirteen local leaders who have endorsed his campaign for his efforts to put an end to the childish, Chicago-style politics on the DuPage County Board.
“Reid doesn’t play politics by grandstanding or creating division, he works towards solutions,” said Bill Ware, Lombard Park Board Commissioner and Former Lombard Trustee. “He’s the active leader the county board needs, and he’s the responsive representative every constituent wants. He will do what’s best for the families of DuPage County.”
Tommy Russell, Knights of Columbus Grand Knight, said Reid Foltyniewicz will bring the type of leadership the community has been lacking. “I take notice of local leaders and their involvement in the community they represent. Many politicians rely on their constituents to come to them, but that’s not how Reid operates. Reid is part of the community, and his constituents feel it. Families, small businesses, and local organizations have a thoughtful leader who comes to them to see how he can help. We need more people like Reid to step up to lead our communities."
In addition to Ware and Russell, those endorsing Foltyniewicz today include: Jeff Castle, Milton Township Trustee; Tony Cuzzone, York Township Clerk; Mike Fugiel, Former Lombard Trustee; Catherine Gavin, Former Glen Ellyn Village Clerk; Erica Militello, York Township Trustee; Jack Novak, Wards Creek Park District President; Anthony Pacilli, York Township Trustee; Dick Shoreder, York Township Highway Commissioner; John Valle, York Township Supervisor; Deanna Wilkins, York Township Assessor; and Zach Wilson, Former Lombard Trustee.
“All the leaders who endorsed me today have made such important contributions to their communities, and I admire their public service,” Reid Foltyniewicz said. “I’ll bring the same leadership to the county board so we can keep Chicago crime and politics out of DuPage County. Just as the people who endorsed me expect, I’ll focus on keeping our communities and families safe, lowering taxes and bringing jobs to our county, and actively serving our residents to make their lives better.”
