Warrant Service At 4:42 an officers observed a vehicle with front tinted windows. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Rashaad Chamberlain, 24, of 541 N. Taft Avenue, Hillside was arrested on an active warrant for resisting out of DeKalb County. Chamberlain was given a court date of March 10, 2022 at DeKalb County Courthouse, 133 W. State Street, Sycamore.

February 8 Theft

At 8:08 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 7400 block of Brookdale Drive for a theft. The complainant advised unknown offenders, between 7:00 p.m. on February7, 2022 and 8:08 a.m. on February 8, 2022 removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the lot, The approximate loss is $800 no other information at this time.

February 9 Unlawful Possession of Cannabis by Driver At 9:50 a.m. an officer observed a vehicle on 75 traveling eastbound speeding. Radar confirmed a speed of 70 mph in a 45 mph zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Diego Ramirez

Gonzalez, 21, of 8120 Waterbury Court, Woodridge was charged with unlawful possession of cannabis by driver and speeding. Ramirez Gonzalez was given a court date of March 24, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

February 10

Driving While License Suspended At 10:44 a.m. officers observed a vehicle make an improper turn in front of another vehicle. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Adel Alsoubani, 43, of 8824 Lakeridge Drive, Darien was cited for driving while license suspended and failure to yield turning left. Alsoubani was given a court date of March 24, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Residential Burglary

At 12:22 p.m. an officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive for a residential burglary. The victim advised between 4:30 a.m. on February 9, 2022 and 12:14 p.m. on February 10, 2022.unknown offenders removed a canvas patio chair from the living room. The approximate loss is $25 no other information at this time.

February 11

Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol At 8:57 p.m. an officer observed a swerving vehicle that was also speeding. Radar confirmed a speed of 54 mph in a 40 mph zone. The vehicle was stopped and the driver, Barbara Tanner, 61, of 4937 Florence Avenue Downers Grove was arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol and speeding. Tannerwas given acourtdateofMarch22,2022 at DuPageCountyJudicial Center.

Theft At 8:03 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 1500 block of Lakeview Drive for a theft. The victim advised between 7:00 p.m. on February 10, 2022 and 7:45 a.m. on February 11, 2022 unknown offenders removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in a lot. The approximate loss is $2,000. No other information at this time.

Theft

At 8:50 a.m. an officer was dispatched to the 1100 block of Chalet Drive for a theft. The victim advised between 10:30 p.m. on February 10, 2022 and 5:45 a.m. on February 11, 2022 unknown offenders removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in a lot. The approximate loss is $2,000. No other information at this time.
