Jennifer Sanalitro's campaign has issued the following press release:

HANOVER PARK, IL – Republican Jennifer Sanalitro launched her campaign for state representative in the 48th District, which encompasses portions of Cook and DuPage counties.

“Illinois’ decision-makers are putting Illinois on the wrong track,” stated Sanalitro. “Crime is up, the economy lags behind neighboring states, and our educational system is allowing students to fall behind while teachers struggle under challenging circumstances. As a suburban mom, I am running for state representative to fight for the citizens of my community, bringing smart choices and common-sense solutions to Springfield. Together, we can create a healthy and safe community and put Illinois on a pathway toward prosperity.”

For the last six years, Jennifer has worked as a sales executive for a packaging company, which provided the flexibility to balance between work and raising a family. Previously, she worked as a district sales manager traveling along the west coast, opening new locations, recruiting, hiring, and training staff. Like many moms, Jennifer could be found volunteering at her children's school over the years. Believing in the importance of early childhood development, she started volunteering at her child's elementary school by reading books to the class and helping those struggling to read.

Jennifer resides in Hanover Park with her husband of twenty years, Bobby, who operates his own business. They have two children, Alyssa and Johnny, and Lucy, their puppy.
