Report: Roselle School District spent $15,693 per student in 2019-20

Spending per pupil at Roselle School District 12 was up 28.3 percent from five years ago, according to the DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2019-20 report card showed the Dupage County school district spent $12,231 per pupil in 2015-16. It spent $15,693 in 2019-20.

The district's enrollment fell from 708 to 675 students over the same period.

Roselle's spending in 2019-20 was 8.3 percent higher than the state average of $14,492.
