Retail Theft

At 7:45 p.m. an officer was dispatched to Brookhaven Market, 7516 Cass Avenue for a retail theft in progress. A loss prevention official observed the offender placing items in a purse. Dajana Cubrilovic, 30, of 2512 Waterbury Drive, Woodridge was cited for retail theft. Cubrilovic was given

a court date of February 17, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center. Warrant Service

At 10:49 p.m. an officer on patrol observed a vehicle with a tail light not operating. Jasmine Martinez, 30, of 9919 DeSoto Avenue, Chatsworth California was processed on afailure to appear

warrant out of DeKalb County. Martinez was given a court date of February 8, 2022 at DeKalb County Courthouse, 133 W. State Street, Sycamore, Illinois. Passenger Terrance Walden, 36, of 7233 Flag Creek Drive, Willowbrook was cited for possession of open alcohol by a passenger.

January 4

Driving While License Suspended

At 12:14 p.m. an officers on patrol observed a vehicle with an expired registration sticker. Josue Terrones, 34, of 2311 W. Division Street, Melrose Park was charged with obstructing identification, driving while license suspended no proof of insurance and no valid registration.

Terrones was given a court date of February 7, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

Driving While License Suspended

At 12:43 p.m. an officer on patrol westbound 67 Street observed a vehicle speeding. Pickett Akporido, 29, of 17W724 Butterfield Road, Oak Brook Terrace was cited for driving while license

suspended, no insurance, possession of cannabis by driver and speeding. Akporido was given a court date of February 17, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

January 7

Driving While License Suspended

At 7:29 a.m. an officer on patrol in the 1000 block of 67 Street observed a vehicle speeding.

Radar confirmed a speed of 48 mph in a 25 mph zone. Isaac Burcy, 24, of 6703 Aspen Lane, Westmont was arrested for driving while license suspended, operating uninsured motor vehicle and speeding. Burcy was given a court date of February 10, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

No Valid Driver’s License

At 9:25 a.m. an officer on patrol in the 8100 block of Lemont Road observed a speeding vehicle. Omari Mobley, 23, of 5926 Justine Street was arrested for no valid license, unlawful possession of cannabis by a driver and speeding. Mobley was given a court date of February 24, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.

January 8

Theft of Motor Vehicle Parts

At 4:45 an officer was dispatched to Darien Police Department, 1710 Plainfield Road for a theft in the 1100 block of Chalet Drive of a catalytic converter. The victim advised sometime between 3:00 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. January 8, 2022 unknown offenders removed a catalytic converter from a vehicle parked in the lot. The approximate loss is $450 no other information at this time.

Fugitive from Justice

At 9:19 p.m. an officer assisted a detective from Washington County Sheriff’s Department serving a warrant. Thony Renelique, 48, of 6707 Riverchase Drive, Temple Terrace Florida was charged with being a fugitive from justice. Renelique was transported by Darien Police to DuPage County Jail.

January 9

Driving While License Suspended

At 10:32 a.m. an officer on patrol in the 900 block of North Frontage observed a vehicle exiting a parking lot and ran a registration check which came back suspended. David Cole, 41, of 951 N

Frontage Road was arrested for driving while license suspended and operating a vehicle with a suspended registration. Cole was given a court date of February 10, 2022 at DuPage County Judicial Center.
