Parents Against Tyranny and the Northern Illinois Proud Boys are planning a protest at Downers Grove North High School in opposition to the high school library carrying a book depicting gay sex. The protest is set for Nov. 15, at 6 p.m.
A flyer announcing the protest displays an image from 'Gender Queer' by Maia Kobabe depicting two teen boys engaged in oral sex.
“All parents need to stand against this pedophiles indoctrination that is happening in our children schools,” the flyer reads.
Kobabe’s work has been controversial as parents have questioned its place in school libraries.
The protest will be held at 4436 Main St. in Downers Grove.
