Gary Rabine touts his business background at Wayne Township Republicans event

Gary Rabine for Governor has issued the following press release:

Woodstock, IL – Gary Rabine, Republican candidate for Governor, attended

an event with the Wayne Township Republicans where he made the case his

background in building businesses makes him the most qualified Republican

candidate for Governor in the field.

“Fifteen years ago, we were no different. We were probably average when it

comes to the workers’ compensation costs and the regulatory environment,”

Rabine said. “Today we are the highest most costly place to build a business.

Our businesses are leaving but all it takes is common sense to turn our state

around. We must give our business owners in Illinois a fighting chance and

that starts with better economic policies which can only happen with a

change in leadership in Springfield.”

A new report form MoneyGeek shows Illinois has recovered 78% of its lost

jobs, while neighboring Missouri and Wisconsin and 12 other states that have

recovered more than 100% of their lost jobs.

“These numbers are a direct result of poor policies,” Rabine said. “I am the

candidate best able to defeat JB Pritzker next year and the candidate with

the most experience to turn our economy around.”
