Help wanted for SHIELD testing
We plan to implement SHIELD testing for students at our schools the week of Sept. 20. You may click here to learn more about SHIELD testing.
In order for the process to run with minimal disruption to the school day, Med-Call Healthcare, which is coordinating the SHIELD testing at our schools, is hiring committed candidates to assist with collection of SHIELD testing kits. These positions are not demanding, but timely attendance and commuting throughout the day may be involved. All job candidates must have their own transportation.
Those who are hired will be expected to work during school hours. Strong computer/data entry experience is required. Although healthcare experience is ideal, it is not a requirement for this position.
Details:
- Pay: up to $20 per hour
- Job types: full-time, part-time, contract
- Background check, car Insurance and valid driver's license required
Please contact Kathleen Loomis of Med-Call Healthcare at 708-971-3656 or Kloomis@medcallstaffing.com.

Info Re: COVID-19 close contact, quarantine and vaccination status
Please review the following information regarding COVID-19 close contact, quarantine and sharing vaccination status.
Close contact, quarantine information
When a positive COVID-19 case is identified at school or school events/athletics, our staff follow the Illinois Department of Public Health's guidance when determining who is a close contact and needs to quarantine. This guidance is posted on our health services page on each school’s website under the Parent/Family tab. Please note that, under the current guidance, when someone is fully vaccinated and not showing symptoms, they are not required to quarantine.
Vaccination status
We welcome you to share your vaccination status with your school’s health services office. Please send a screenshot or copy of the vaccination card to your school’s health services office:
The vaccination status information will be kept confidential. Sharing this information before a possible COVID-19 exposure will help school staff determine if your student should be quarantined.
