The Election Integrity Project in DuPage County is pressing forward in its probe of the 2020 election after uncovering discrepancies that highlight more ballots were cast than there were voters who voted and that there were at least three voters over the age of 119 that cast ballots.
All the scrutiny has led to DuPage County undergoing a full recount for a county office, in this case for county auditor, for the first time in history. Breakthrough Ideas is studying available public data to assess the accuracy of the voter rolls to comprehend the county clerk’s procedures for maintaining the voter roll.
In other instances, a man named Ron Allen sold his home in 2017, moved to Tennessee and died in 2018, but still managed to cast a vote in the 2020 general election and, in Naperville Township there are 209 voters aged 80-99, who only voted in the 2020 election in the last 10 years.
A federal judge recently ruled that Illinois Conservative Union officer Carol Davis’ suit targeting state officials that have refused to turn over voter registration data can move forward.
“I especially want to thank Carol Davis of the Illinois Conservative Union who gave a masterful presentation on the current state of ballot integrity underway by her group in Illinois and others across the nation,” Illinois Republican Party chairman Don Tracy said in a recent party weekly memo. “As the Illinois Republican Party makes plans to ensure ballot integrity in Illinois for the next election, Carol and her team will be an integral part of that equation.”
