10:00 AM meeting was called to order by Chair Donald Puchalski at 10:00 AM.

A. 2021-21 Recommendation for the approval of a contract to Standard Industrial & Automotive Equipment, Inc., for Rotary Automotive and Heavy Equipment Lift Certification, Preventive Maintenance, Repair Parts and Repair Services, as needed for the Division of Transportation, for the period April 1, 2021 through March 31, 2022, for a contract total not to exceed $22,550.; Per lowest responsible bid 21-004-DOT.

8. INTERGOVERNMENTAL AGREEMENTS

A. DT-R-0178-21 RESOLUTION -- Intergovernmental Agreement between the County of DuPage and Village of Lisle for improvements along CH 3/Warrenville Road over the East Branch of the DuPage River, Section 14-00124-04-BR; County to be reimbursed $220,873.

RESULT: APPROVED [UNANIMOUS]

9. REPORT FROM STATE'S ATTORNEY

10. OLD BUSINESS

Member Krajewswki inquired about the status of weight scales to assist with overweight truck enforcement. Director Snyder advised that he will follow up with the Sheriff's office and arrange for a future update to the Committee.

Member Krajewski also inquired about the status of a state-wide automated truck permitting system. Director Snyder advised that the State has not proposed anything to date. Separately, many counties and municipalities have implemented automated truck permitting systems using the same vendor and the trucking industry has favorably received. Director Snyder will provide the number of DuPage County municipalities using automated truck permitting at a future meeting.

11. NEW BUSINESS

Chair Puchalski thanked County Board Member Garcia for attending the meeting.

Member DeSart thanked the DOT for addressing a constituents concerns regarding Hobson Road and Wehrli Road.
