GLEN ELLYN PARK DISTRICT: Drive-Thru Drop-Off Food Drive on February 25

Food drive table with canned goods 1600x900

Glen Ellyn Park District issued the following announcement on Feb 17.

The COVID-19 pandemic has created an unprecedented demand on food pantries, including our own Glen Ellyn Food Pantry.

Many of our neighbors are facing food insecurity right now, some for the first time in their lives.

Please consider donating non-perishable food items and toiletries any time between 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m., Thursday, February 25, at Ackerman SFC, 800 St. Charles Road.

Those wishing to donate should drive up to the main entrance and stay in their vehicles. Volunteers will unload their donations.
