Burr Ridge Community Consolidated School District 180 issued the following announcement on Oct. 30.
This fall the State of Illinois reissued the annual school report card. Because there's no fresh 2020 testing data available, the State has elected to re-issue 2019 designation based upon April, 2018 scores.
Your district and school report cards and school improvement plans are now available online. These are not student report cards but rather the annual state-generated report of information about our schools and our school district. Districts that maintain an Internet web site are to post their report cards online. These reports are in PDF format. Adobe Acrobat Reader is the software application that can open files in PDF format. Acrobat Reader comes free with most computers. If it is not loaded on your computer, you can download a free version by clicking on the following link: Free Adobe Acrobat Reader.
The report card is available at https://www.illinoisreportcard.com.
Please let us know if you are unable to access the website.
In previous years the State would provide an "at a glance" report card that could be printed. However, this year as there are no IAR scores to report, the state has issued a statement (attached) stating that the federal waiver from State testing, "impacts several metrics typically reported on the At-a-Glance. Therefore, the 2020 At-a- Glance (report card) is not being produced."
It is this At-a-Glance which most people consider the report card. So, while the remaining information is available on the website it is not available in an easy to print pdf format.
Information from ISBE regarding the changes in the report card due to the lack of IAR testing is also attached along with a handy flyer about what metrics were lost without testing.
Thanks for working with us to ensure that our students perform their best every day and on these measures.
