Village of Roselle Fire District responded to 330 calls in 2018 - 1.5 percent more than the previous year, according to data from the National Fire Incident Reporting System.

The calls in Village Of Roselle included 97 fires - 70 structure fires, 10 vehicle fires and 17 other fires. The fire department also responded to two calls for ruptures, explosions or overheating.

In all, the department saw $831,358 in fire loss - or about $8,571 per fire.

The department also received 231 false calls.

The calls resulted in one civilian fire-related injury.
