The COVID shut down has made it difficult for many local families to keep up with their monthly bills. In response, Jeanne Ives’ congressional campaign (IL-06) has launched an online fundraising initiative to help support those in need of rent or utility assistance.
For a limited time, the campaign will sell their “Relentless” T-Shirt. The front of the shirt features the word “Relentless” above an American flag, and the back of the shirts reads, “Tackling Our Toughest Challenges.”
“We chose the word ‘Relentless’ because that’s what we are: Relentless Americans,” said Ives. “We are faced with unprecedented challenges. But, historically, we have come together to meet the challenges we face with ingenuity, efficiency and grit. We must do the same now. We are not giving up.”
Shirts are $25 each and can be ordered online at https://jeanne-for-congress.myshopify.com/. After costs, the revenue from each shirt sold will go directly to The St. Vincent de Paul Society for rent and utility assistance for those in need.
