Q4 2019 Parolees Recap: Who was paroled in Addison?

There were four offenders released on parole during the fourth quarter that live in Addison zip codes, according to Illinois Department of Corrections data obtained by DuPage Policy Journal.

The data shows that all of the released offenders in Addison were men. The median age of the parolees was 38. The youngest parolee was a 26-year-old man sentenced in 2016 and the oldest was a 59-year-old man sentenced in 2016.

The offender who had been incarcerated the longest was Miguel Castillo. He was convicted in 2016 when he was 22 years old. He is now 26.

Under state law, paroled offenders are still in legal custody of the IDOC, meaning they can be taken back to a correctional center at any time if the state has probable cause or a warrant.

The table below shows the 50 cities in Illinois with the most paroled offenders in the fourth quarter.
