Bloomingdale School District 13 issued the following announcement on March 20.
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, teachers will communicate the new At Home Learning plan with students.
The At Home Learning plan will consist of daily communication from teachers, 20-30 minutes of learning per content area posted to each teachers' Google classroom page for a maximum of 2 1/2 hours per day, along with additional choices from instructional specialists for students who wish to go beyond the recommended 2 1/2 hours of learning.
At this time, student work will not be graded. While completion of student work is optional, we strongly encourage your child's participation as a way of staying connected to their teachers and classmates!
Beginning Tuesday, March 24, please encourage your child to log in daily to their teachers Google Classroom and communicate with their teachers if they have questions related to any of the content. As this is a new process, we are all navigating new waters together and appreciate your patience and understanding as we begin the new procedures. Thank you!
