Darien home prices fall in January 2020

The median sale price of a home sold in January 2020 in Darien fell by $27,750 while total sales increased by 147.6%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In January 2020, there were 52 homes sold, with a median sale price of $260,250 - a 9.6% decrease over the $288,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 21 homes sold in Darien in January 2019.

The median sales tax in Darien for the most recent year with available data, 2018, was $6,101, approximately 2.3% of the median home sale price for January 2020.
