Illinois State House District 56 issued the following announcement on Jan. 23
Attention Parents! The Illinois Association for Gifted Children is hosting their annual conference, which will feature a Parent Day on February 8th. There will be a keynote speaker, followed by breakout sessions presented by experts in the field, as well as, exhibitor booths for schools, summer camps, enrichment programs, and shopping for books, games, and toys! I encourage ALL parents to take advantage of this great opportunity, but most especially those with students in our Gifted and Magnet programs.
