City of West Chicago issued the following announcement on Jan. 16.
What type of art should be included in West Chicago’s
Public Art Master Plan?
As cities across the country have learned, the addition of public art in communities offers many benefits. West Chicago residents responded with strong agreement to some of these benefits, and added several others of their own, in a survey administered by its Cultural Arts Commission seeking feedback in its development of a Public Art Master Plan. Results of this survey are now available.
Now, the Commission is posing another aspect of the developing Plan for public comment, and is asking residents to choose what types of art installations they would like to see in West Chicago.
