Jeanne Ives has secured a key endorsement in her race for US Congress (IL-06). 

The Club for Growth, an influential pro-taxpayer group that promotes limited government, endorsed Ives on Monday. 

“Besides being a West Point graduate, a United States Army officer, and a mom of five, Jeanne Ives is a proven limited-government conservative,” said Club for Growth PAC President David McIntosh said in a statement. “She’s the kind of person who will stand up for principle to the Establishment of both parties in Washington — just like she has in Illinois.”

“I am honored to have earned the esteemed endorsement of Club for Growth, an organization that is deeply committed to limiting the size of government and advancing pro-growth economic policies,” said Ives. “As the next representative for the 6th District, I will put my experience working with both parties - as well as standing up to powerful leaders in both parties when necessary - to work tirelessly for lower taxes, smarter, less anti-competitive regulations and policies that reduce big government’s control over our lives in order to unleash the full economic potential of every family in America.”
