Paul Wedemann called the Special Joint Committee Meeting consisting of Fenton Community High School District 100, Bensenville School District 2 and Wood Dale School District 7 Board of Education to order at 6:00 pm.

All present recited the Pledge of Allegiance.
A consensus was formed when all seven groups agreed upon the key word “Empower” and the phrase “Be The Best I Can Be” as the foundation of building the portrait. Six categories were also agreed upon (Intellectually, Culturally, Creatively, Socially, Emotionally, and Physically) along with sub-categories to further define our graduate.
A graphic representation was selected and discussion followed as to how to coordinate the language between the three districts and roll-out the final product of Portrait of a Graduate.
The Superintendents will schedule a follow-up meeting to continue the discussion of the roll-out plan and fine-tune the graphics.
