D.Accept Community Development Committee recommendation and pass resolution R2019-52, waiving competitive bidding, and approving contracts with Maguire Iron Inc. for $677,000 for West Street Water Tower painting and inspection, and for $34,750 for West Street Water Tower repairs

E.Accept staff recommendation and pass resolution R2019-53, awarding the contract for the 2019 Landon Avenue Watermain Extension to Swallow Construction Corporation of Downers Grove, IL, in the amount of $232,602

F.Accept staff recommendation and pass resolution R2019-54, approving a contract with Engineering Resources Associates Inc. for construction engineering services for the 2019 Landon Avenue Watermain Extension in the amount of $33,932.34, plus reimbursable expenses

G.Accept Community Development Committee recommendation and direct staff to prepare an ordinance expanding the type of fencing materials that would satisfy the requirements of local building code amendment 3301.4

H.Accept Community Development Committee recommendation and direct staff to memorialize the approval of the Alden Foundation’s Fee Waiver request in the ordinance for the final PUD plans and plat for the Warrenville Horizon project, subject to the staff-recommended conditions

I.Accept Mayor Brummel’s recommendation and approve the appointment of Byron Miller to the Zoning Board of Appeals and the reappointment to the Plan Commission as an at-large representative for a term set to expire on November 18, 2024

J.Accept Mayor Brummel’s recommendation and approve the appointment of Amit Thaker as a Ward 3 representative member of the Plan Commission for a term set to expire on November 18, 2024

K.Receive and file minutes of the Tourism and Arts Commission regular meeting held on September 12, 2019
