Republican House candidate Laura Hois will host a meet-and-greet with voters of the 81st District from 5:30-7 p.m Nov. 19 at the Downers Grove Public Library.
Hois, who is set to face incumbent Rep. Anne Stava-Murray (D-Naperville) next November, formerly served as Downers Grove Township clerk and was once a candidate for the assessor post.
On Nov. 19, she plans to spend much of the evening getting to know voters and sharing her vision for the district with them.
An attorney by trade, Hois will be joined at the event by state Rep. Deanne Mazzochi (R-Elmhurst).
All residents of the district are encouraged to attend, and light refreshments will be served.
