Issued the following announcement on Oct. 3.
In her first filing (Q3) as a federal candidate, Jeanne Ives, Republican Candidate for Congress in Illinois’ Sixth District, proves she will have the financial support necessary to take on Rep. Sean Casten and his Washington D.C. funders.
In the first three months of her candidacy, Ives’ campaign raised an impressive $340,298.13. Ives quickly established herself as the preferred party nominee of key conservative reform advocacy groups including Freedom Fund, FreedomWorks and the Susan B. Anthony List.
“I’m humbled by the strong support I’ve received from families in our community and individuals from around the country who want a reform leader from the 6th District committed to pragmatic policy solutions to their quality of life concerns in the areas of health care, economic opportunity, and national security,” said Ives. “My opponent is stuck in the past, consumed by overturning the results of the 2016 presidential election. I am focused on the future and looking forward to delivering for families in the 6th District currently underserved by a congressman bent on hyper-partisan politics and aligned with the anti-business, big government element in his party.”
