This morning Jeanne Ives, Republican Candidate for Congress (IL-6), personally delivered a yard sign to her opponent's next door neighbor, Vietnam veteran and Purple Heart recipient Paul Hall. Hall reached out to the Ives campaign the morning after she announced to volunteer his support. Ives spent about an hour chatting with Hall and several others.
"One of the best parts about being on the campaign trail is all of the people you get to meet," said Ives. Paul reached out to my campaign the morning after I announced. I wanted to take the time to personally visit with him. We had a great conversation that I look forward to continuing with him and his family and friends as the campaign moves forward. Paul is a Vietnam Veteran and a Purple Heart recipient. I am honored to have his support!"
