Dupage City home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Dupage City rose by $8,750 while total sales increased by 65.5%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 48 homes sold, with a median sale price of $126,750 - a 7.4% increase over the $118,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 29 homes sold in Dupage City in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dupage City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,327, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
