Darien home prices rise in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Darien rose by $6,500 while total sales increased by 40.9%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 155 homes sold, with a median sale price of $275,000 - a 2.4% increase over the $268,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 110 homes sold in Darien in the first half of 2018.
