Elmhurst (DuPage County) home prices fall in the first half of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the first half of 2019 in Elmhurst in DuPage County fell by $17,000 while total sales increased by 8.7%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From January through June of 2019, there were 288 homes sold, with a median sale price of $393,000 - a 4.1% decrease over the $410,000 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 265 homes sold in Elmhurst in the first half of 2018.

The median sales tax in Elmhurst for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $7,434, approximately 1.9% of the median home sale price for the first half of 2019.
