Dupage City home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Dupage City rose by $9,250 while total sales increased by 35%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 27 homes sold, with a median sale price of $127,000 - a 7.9% increase over the $117,750 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 20 homes sold in Dupage City in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Dupage City for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $2,327, approximately 1.8% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
