Addison home prices rise in the second quarter of 2019

The median sale price of a home sold in the second quarter of 2019 in Addison rose by $25,500 while total sales increased by 21.4%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From April through June of 2019, there were 85 homes sold, with a median sale price of $245,000 - a 11.6% increase over the $219,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 70 homes sold in Addison in the second quarter of 2018.

The median sales tax in Addison for the most recent year with available data, 2017, was $5,238, approximately 2.1% of the median home sale price for the second quarter of 2019.
