FreedomWorks for America issued the following announcement on Aug. 27.

This morning, the renowned conservative advocacy organization FreedomWorks for America announced its endorsement of Jeanne Ives for Congress, writing: 

FreedomWorks for America is proud to endorse Jeanne Ives in Illinois’ Sixth Congressional District.

Noah Wall, FreedomWorks for America Executive Director, commented: 

“Jeanne Ives has already proven herself a patriotic defender of freedom as a platoon leader in the United States Army and a three-term member of the Illinois State Legislature. With her battle-tested resolve and her tireless commitment to smaller government, lower taxes, and free markets, Illinois’ Sixth District could scarcely ask for a better person to send to Congress than Jeanne Ives.”

In response, Ives said, “I’m honored to be endorsed by an esteemed organization that represents the interests of grassroots conservatives across the nation,” said Ives. "Growth through free enterprise and small government have always been some of my main focuses as a legislator and candidate. I regularly meet with conservative leaders to understand what they need to be successful. I look forward to working with FreedomWorks and other real conservative organizations as our campaign continues on this incredible trajectory.”
