Darien School District 61 recently issued the following announcement.
School Calendar-E-Learning Feedback: Parents
We are looking at a number of options for future handling of emergency days (snow/cold weather days). After gathering feedback from the teachers, we are now asking for parent input regarding these options.
Each of the options should be considered independently as you respond. One of the options is e-learning. E-learning is defined as activities that students could do without being at school in the traditional learning environment. It does not necessarily mean electronic learning, but engaging activities which promote skill development and further development of a child's knowledge with or without the use of technology.
