Hanover Park (DuPage County) home prices rise in the second half of 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in the second half of 2017 in Hanover Park in DuPage County rose by $22,500 while total sales increased by 8.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

From July through December of 2017, there were 143 homes sold, with a median sale price of $181,000 - a 14.2% increase over the $158,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 132 homes sold in Hanover Park in the second half of 2016.

The median sales tax in Hanover Park for 2017 was $5,334. In 2016, the median sales tax was $5,102. This marks an increase of 4.5%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 2.9%.
