Clarendon Hills home prices fall in May 2017

The median sale price of a home sold in May 2017 in Clarendon Hills fell by $14,500 while total sales increased by 31.3%, according to BlockShopper.com.

In May 2017, there were 21 homes sold, with a median sale price of $450,000 - a 3.1% decrease over the $464,500 median sale price for the same period of the previous year. There were 16 homes sold in Clarendon Hills in May 2016.

The median sales tax in Clarendon Hills for 2017 was $8,773.11. In 2016, the median sales tax was $8,458.50. This marks an increase of 3.7%. The effective property tax rate, using the median property tax and median home sale price as the basis, is 1.9%.
