City of West Chicago issued the following announcement on March 15.
The City of West Chicago has temporary positions available for summer 2019 (May through August) in the Street and Facilities Management Division of the Public Works Department. Work involves general manual labor and is primarily outdoors. Work hours are 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., Monday–Friday. Starting Salary is $10.00 per hour. Applicants are required to have a valid Illinois Driver’s License, must be age 18 or older, be able to perform the essential job functions for the division and the ability to successfully complete a background check, pre-employment physical and drug screen.
