state senator candidate Thomas Cullerton returns $500 contribution from Citizens for Elaine Nekritz

The campaign committee of state senator candidate Thomas Cullerton, Friends of Tom Cullerton, returned a $500 contribution from Citizens for Elaine Nekritz on April 16, according to the Illinois State Board of Elections.

Candidates sometimes refuse or return contributions because they do not want their campaign to be affiliated with the donor. Citizens for Elaine Nekritz has not made any other contributions to Thomas Cullerton in the past 12 months.
