Administrators in Community Consolidated School District 89 earn an average of $126,949 per year, ranking 94th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 1.8% higher than in 2014 and 12% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 18.3% more than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.
