Administrators in Cass School District 63 earn an average of $132,395 per year, ranking 65th out of 864 districts in the state, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of the latest Illinois schools report card.

The 2018 average is 1.4% lower than in 2014 and 1.4% lower than in 2009. District administrators make 23.4% more than the state average of $107,279.

Administrator salaries depend on the district's size, location and resources, as well as the individual's level of experience and education, according to the Illinois State Board of Education report.

The Dupage County school district enrolled 777 students in 2017-18. There is an average of 194 students for every administrator, compared to a statewide ratio of 181 to 1.
