Report: Naperville spent $15,326 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Naperville Community Unit School District 203 is up 10.9 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,819 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $15,326 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 16903 to 16654.

Naperville's spending in 2017-18 was 14.9 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
