Report: Bensenville spent $14,889 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Bensenville School District 2 is up 7.6 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $13,839 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,889 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 2196 to 2233.

Bensenville's spending in 2017-18 was 11.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
