Report: Wood Dale spent $12,535 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Wood Dale School District 7 is up 10.2 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $11,374 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $12,535 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1079 to 1077.

Wood Dale's spending in 2017-18 was 6 percent lower than the state average of $13,337.
