Report: Lisle spent $20,608 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Lisle Community Unit School District 202 is up 20 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $17,169 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $20,608 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1563 to 1489.

Lisle's spending in 2017-18 was 54.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
