Report: Maercker spent $14,219 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Maercker School District 60 is down 3.2 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $14,691 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $14,219 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment rise over the same period, from 1334 to 1485.

Maercker's spending in 2017-18 was 6.6 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
