Report: Fenton spent $19,810 per student in 2017-18

Spending per pupil at Fenton Community High School District 100 is up 8.2 percent from five years ago, according to a DuPage Policy Journal analysis of district finances.

The Illinois State Board of Education 2017-18 report card shows the Dupage County school district spent $18,306 per pupil in 2013-14. It spent $19,810 in 2017-18.

The district saw its enrollment fall over the same period, from 1524 to 1493.

Fenton's spending in 2017-18 was 48.5 percent higher than the state average of $13,337.
