BENSENVILLE SCHOOL DISTRICT 2: Parent portal to TeacherEase online gradebook set to open February 4

Program participation

Bensenville School District 2 recently issued the following announcement.

We are excited to inform you that District 2 has implemented TeacherEase this school year for its online gradebook.

The parent portal portion of TeacherEase will be opening on February 4. The parent portal will allow you to view your child’s performance on his/her classroom assessments and view previous progress reports and report cards. This can be done anytime on any internet-connected device (e.g., computer, smartphone, tablet).

In the TeacherEase Parent Portal, progress will be reported on classroom formative and summative assessments on a scale of 1 to 4; 1-Beginning, 2-Progressing, 3-Meets, 4-Exemplary. This 4-point scale aligns with the standards-based grading system the District implemented a few years ago and reflects the same Illinois learning standards outlined on the District’s report cards.

TeacherEase will not be used for daily reporting of classwork and homework; instead, scores will be uploaded on a weekly basis during this first year of implementation.

Login information will be emailed home to parents that have email addresses on file with the district on February 4. Included in the email will be a link to set up your account and set your own password.

If you do not yet have an email address on file with your school, please contact your school’s main office to get it added.

Multiple face-to-face trainings for parents  will be held at each building in February. Specific dates will be announced soon.
