The DuPage County Republican Central Committee (DCRCC) has reserved Feb. 22 for its annual Lincoln Day Dinner.
Slated to be held at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oak Brook Terrace, the new date marks the first time in years the event will be held in February, the month of the former president’s actual birthday. Festivities are scheduled to run from 6 to 9 p.m.
"We plan to announce our keynote speaker, more event details and other surprises very soon,” organizers said in a bulletin emailed to supporter. “Get excited and stay tuned.”
On its website, DCRCC bills itself as “a group of community volunteers dedicated to the Republican principles of less government, lower taxes and more personal freedoms.”
