Report: 11.2% of Devry University students repaying loans are in default

Out of 36,680 Devry University students repaying loans in 2015, 4,118 were in default, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

That gives the four-year proprietary school in Chicago a default rate of 11.2 percent for that year – 1.3 percentage points lower than in 2014 and 0.6 points higher than in 2013.

Devry University had 98 fewer students in default in 2015 than in 2014 and 1,270 fewer than in 2013.
